Redeeming Your Initial E6 License and Binding Your MicroSim Device

 

Introduction

To fully enjoy your MicroSim device's capabilities with E6, you must register it with SLX Connect and redeem your initial E6 License Key. Follow these steps:

 

Step 1: Register Your MicroSim with SLX Connect

  • Registration: If you have not done so, register your MicroSim device with SLX Connect.
  • Pairing: Pair your MicroSim via Bluetooth to ensure it can communicate with the SLX Connect app.

 

Step 2: Redeeming Your Code

  • Access SLX Connect: Open the SLX Connect app on your device.
  • Navigate to Simulator Options: Go to "SIMULATOR on course practice and more..".
  • E6 Integration: Under '3rd party simulator', select the e6 icon.
  • Choose Platform: Pick between iOS or PC based on your system to redeem your product code.

 

Step 3: Binding Your Device in E6

  • Log into E6 APP: Use the same credentials as SLX Connect to log into the e6 application.
  • Access Settings: If already logged in, click the settings gear icon.
  • Simulator Binding: Go to 'Info and Help', select "Simulator Binding", and click "Unbind".
  • Reactivate Device: Log back in and, when prompted, activate your device to complete the binding process.

 

Troubleshooting and Support

  • Connectivity: Ensure your device's Bluetooth is on and functioning.
  • Compatibility: Check that your device is compatible with the E6 Connect app.

    • For iOS Devices:

      • Operating System: iOS 13 or later.
      • Compatible Devices: iPhone 6s or newer, iPad 2017 or newer, iPad Pro, iPad Mini 4 or newer, and iPad Air 2 or newer.
      • Storage: At least 6GB of free space for the basic E6 Connect app installation, with additional space required for downloading courses and other content.

      For Windows PCs:

      • Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit).
      • Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD equivalent, 2.0 GHz or faster.
      • Memory: 8GB RAM minimum, 16GB RAM recommended.
      • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 1050 or AMD equivalent with at least 4GB of VRAM, DirectX 11 compatible.
      • Storage: At least 25GB of free space for the basic E6 Connect installation, with additional space needed for extra courses and content.
      • Internet Connection: Required for software activation, multiplayer modes, and access to additional content.

      Additional Considerations:

      • Internet Speed: A stable and reasonably fast internet connection is recommended for downloading the software, courses, and for online play.
      • Graphics Settings: Depending on your PC's hardware, you may need to adjust the graphics settings within E6 Connect for optimal performance.
      • Updates: Keeping your device's operating system and the E6 Connect app updated will ensure the best performance and access to the latest features and courses.

      Before purchasing or attempting to install E6 Connect, verify that your device meets these requirements.
