Experiencing issues with your SLX MicroSim not charging properly? Don't worry, we've got a solution for you! It's likely that your device is stuck in DEEP SLEEP Mode due to outdated firmware. This guide will walk you through the process of updating your firmware, which should resolve the issue.

Step 1: Keep Your Device Plugged In

First and foremost, ensure your device is connected to power throughout the update process. This ensures a smooth and uninterrupted firmware update.

Step 2: Using SLX CONNECT for Firmware Update

  • Access the Device: Open the SLX CONNECT app on your device.
  • Find Your MicroSim or Your Specific SLX Device: Use the app to search or scan for your SLX device.
  • Update the Firmware: Once your device is detected, select it and proceed with the firmware update.

If the First Attempt Fails

Sometimes, things don’t go as planned on the first try. If the update doesn’t work initially:

  • Close the SLX CONNECT app completely.
  • Unplug your sensor from the power source.
  • Restart the process with the sensor unplugged.

Step 3: Troubleshooting Tips

If you encounter difficulties updating the firmware, here are some quick fixes:

  • Bluetooth Toggles: Navigate to Settings, turn Bluetooth off and then on again.
  • Airplane Mode Trick: Switch Airplane mode off and on for a few seconds.
  • Restart Your Device: A simple restart of your iPad or tablet can often resolve minor connectivity issues.
  • Re-pair Bluetooth Device: Unpair the SLX MicroSim and then pair it again via your device’s Bluetooth settings.

Step 4: Issues with SLX CONNECT App

If the app is the problem, follow these steps:

  • Uninstall the App: Remove the SLX CONNECT app from your device.
  • Reinstall: Download and reinstall the SLX CONNECT app.
  • Retry the Update: Attempt the firmware update again, following the instructions provided earlier.
